This is the teaser video for the short film 'Dead Heart of the City'.
WINNER - Best Film - Made in Melbourne 2013
If the past only exists in memories and memories can be altered; can you change the past too?
Dead Heart of the City is a 12 minute non-linear exploration into these memories and dreams. We see excerpts spanning the relationship of Joe and Sally. Their first encounter. Their first kiss. Their first fight. Their addictions, mental and physical. The death of their relationship. But ultimately the motivation and willpower to move on.
Dead Heart of the City is a beautiful, dark and mysterious look into the mind and how we perceive memories about ourselves, our loved ones and the past.
